Our story

Once I became a Father, I wanted to shield my daughter from our family history of diabetes. I knew it would be important to educate her so that she could make the right choices when it comes to nutrition--in particular sugar. It didn’t take me long to see the power that sugar had on children and to realize that not much had changed in that regard since the days my parents were children themselves. The choices are limited when it comes to 100% natural products that will hydrate without delivering harmful levels of sugar, dyes, etc.  Even in the USA there are only a few options, if you have the means to afford them. 

Being originally from the Caribbean, it weighed on me knowing that parents there may not have the choice that I do, living in the USA. That’s when I decided to become a part of the solution. That’s when I created Truitful. Truitful has no added sugar or sweeteners of any kind. No artificial colors or flavors. Truitful naturally delivers vitamins A, C & E and contains less than 3g of naturally occurring fructose per 100ml. Our three unique flavors, Appley Orange, Fruit Fusion, and Tropical Twist, ensure a unique and pleasing flavor profile that don’t rely on sugar saturation. We use iconic cartoon figures on our packaging to engage children without the promise of sugary bliss and will continue to add more characters over time.
